Coulis Cardiology Physician Achieves Recertification in Cardiovascular Disease

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – January 28, 2014 – Coulis Cardiology is proud to announce the recertification of one of its physicians, Robert Marshall Horth, MD, FACC, FASNC, in cardiovascular disease. In January Dr. Horth, of Kohler, Wis., passed the recertification examination by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

As a board-certified cardiovascular disease cardiologist, Dr. Horth meets the ABIM criteria to enhance the quality of cardiovascular health care by demonstrating the knowledge, skill, and attitudes essential for excellent patient care in that field. Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. On average, one American dies every 38 seconds from cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Horth joined Coulis Cardiology’s team of leading specialists in Spring 2010. He earned his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Miami, as well as a residency in internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Horth is also board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiovascular computed tomography, echocardiography and internal medicine.
