Coulis Physician Achieves Board Certification in Nuclear Cardiology

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – March 15, 2012 – Coulis Cardiology is proud to announce the prestigious nuclear cardiology recertification of one of its physicians, Robert Marshall Horth, MD.

In December, Dr. Horth, of Kohler, Wis., passed the recertification examination by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC), which earned him the designation of “Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.”

As a board-certified nuclear cardiologist, Dr. Horth meets the CBNC’s criteria to practice medicine in this field. The CBNC was established in 1996 as a division of the Council for Certification in Cardiovascular Imaging. The purposes of the CBNC certification program include assessing the knowledge level of nuclear cardiologist specialists, encouraging professional growth, formally recognizing individuals who meet CBNC requirements and serving the public by enhancing and encouraging quality care.

Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. On average, one American dies every 38 seconds of cardiovascular disease.
