SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – January 7, 2015 – Coulis Cardiology is proud to announce the recertification of one of its physicians, Louie Coulis, MD, FACC, in cardiovascular disease by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).
As a board-certified cardiovascular-disease cardiologist, Dr. Coulis meets the ABIM criteria to enhance the quality of cardiovascular healthcare by demonstrating the knowledge, skill and attitudes essential for excellent patient care in that field. Cardiovascular disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. On average, one American dies every 38 seconds from cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Coulis has been practicing cardiology in Sheboygan, Wis. for more than 15 years. He earned his medical degree at Indiana University and completed his cardiovascular training at the Cleveland Clinic. He maintains board certification in both general cardiology and nuclear cardiology by the American Society of Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Coulis has participated as primary investigator in numerous national and international clinical trials. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
